140 and more

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name.
He has blessed us with loved ones.
I pray that out of HIS glorious riches HE may strengthen you with power through HIS Spirit in your inner being

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through FAITH.
He has blessed us beyond measure.

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in LOVE, 
We have been given more than we could ever possibly give back.
may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide
and long 
and high
and deep
is the LOVE of Christ, 
Being overwhelmed with love, by those that we call the village.
and to know that
THIS LOVE
that surpasses knowledge--
Family, friends, strangers. So many stepping forward to say, "I care."
that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
Sometimes I am overwhelmed by feeling so small; what can I do to repay the LOVE that we have been shown?


This is my answer. 



They need to know love, too.
Now to HIM who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,
according to HIS power that is at work within us,


and they've never felt love, either.

to HIM be the glory
 in the church 

and in Christ Jesus 

throughout all generations
forever
and ever.


Neither have they. 

Amen!

None of these children have families right now.
None of them get to feel love, or hope; 
Today I found out how many people have contributed just to our FSP:
140

(it changed as I'm writing.)

One hundred forty one different voices
coming together as one village
to bring one little girl home
no matter what the cost.
Thank you.



As if I haven't already asked enough of the village, 
I'm now asking for more:
The little ones in the photos above
have never known love.

Reece's Rainbow hosts its biggest fundraising event
at this time every year. 
I'm asking Elisha's Villagers
to each choose a child. 
Look at the faces above, then
and choose just ONE child
as the child you will be a warrior for.

By raising money and awareness for that child, 
he or she gains a better chance at finding a
forever family. 

They all deserve it.
They all need it.
Elisha's being rescued because of you;
