This month, our family was selected to be the recipient of Jars of Hopes and Dreams, a neat little fundraising idea that the beautiful Ann Plummer came up with a while ago.

The concept is a simple one. For the month of August, take all your spare change and gather it in a jar.
Pickle jar, jelly jar, whatever. Even a coffee canister will do! If you are feeling creative, decorate the jar and take a picture. I'd love to post it on this blog!

The first ever "Jars of Hope" jar, started by the lovely  Ann Plummer!

At the end of the month, bring the jar of change to the bank, cash it in, and send the check to our tax-deductible account.

How EASY is that?! This is usually the money that we all forget we have. You know, the stuff you eventually find while cleaning inside the couch or under the dresser. The best part is, all this little spare change can add up to something big. The more jars out there, the more change gathered, the more we have to bring her home.

So fun and so simple!
